This game has two critical bugs that happens on re-entering the game with any progress via opening it or updating the game page:
1) The save system becomes broken, and it softlocks you in itself. Buttons are still clickable, but they don't work, and the "Host this game" Button won't help you either, despite being functionable;
2) The Credits menu has "Start the game" button that is clickable, but it doesn't return you to the main menu. It's basically an another softlock.
You can only fix the softlocks with in Save Manager from Right Mouse Button Options menu. You need to delete "GrannyStrikesBackSaveData", and reload the game.
And then you can play the game again by creating new save slot, but all your progress will be lost. And if you managed to play the game and re-enter it again, the same two bugs will happen.
The bugs aside, I have issues with three weapons that are less effective than the other ones.
Boomerang(Frying Pan) Grenades(Watermelons), and Flamethrower(Chilli Pepper).
Frying Pan becomes useless all the time the player has access to other weapon. It doesn't scales with Ammo Size and Reload Upgrades, it deals lower damage only to single enemy, and the boomerang effect serves mostly as a reload time. Frying Pan is effective only at the close range. However it's too dangerous to use it this way since all the enemies deal damage on contact in higher difficulties. Purple Power-up is doesn't increase the damage of Frying Pan, instead, it launches two aditional Pans in sideways on half of the throw. This one is quite tricky to use -- you need to precisely throw the Pans to hit two targets at best. But this effect doesn't work at all, if you throw it in front of the enemy. This is most erratic power-up effect in the game that varies between nothing and not even full potential.
Grenades are too hard to use consistently. They reach their' destination too slowly, they have unclear splash area size, and also they have low ammo. That means you need to use them much more precisely than the other weapons, which doesn't correlate with fast pacing of the game. Purple Power-up adds an effect that doesn't help much, since the main targets are more likely to die from grenades themselves rather than the shredding seeds. It may be more effective against groups of large enemies, but in the case of practical and consistent play, you more likely spend ammo of other weapons aside the Grenades and the Frying Pan.
Flamethrower is the late game weapon that managed to become much worse than Rocket(Strawberry) and Laser(Carrot) by having shortest attack range and being coded so badly that it drops the framerates on use! The last one kills the whole pacing making it slow and annoying to play. Purple Power-up is not even readable on this weapon.
